$3 vanda orchids
So here it goes… not a traditional way to plant Vandas but they seem to be thriving so far (approximately 2 months). When I was watering today, I sprayed the Vandas a few times until their roots were dark green. Looking good!
fall garden show goodies
I really restrained myself from going buck wild at the Fall Garden Show at the Botanical Garden in New Orleans last weekend and only bought the things I couldn’t live without… here are the goodies!

Here is my solution for displaying mounted bromeliads and orchids on my back patio. It covered a dated eyesore of a wall… do it yourself!
